Yea, very noticable car, too. All the neighbors hate it - the cops come by on a regular basis just to see if there is any more stupid reasons to give ya a hard time (like perhaps - oh, I dunno - maybe a NOISE TICKET!!!)

Oh Yeah, one more thing about that loud green car - the red Hunter Motorsports decal on the windshield.

Ha Ha! Verry funny, Age.

Real racers turn left, and right, and use the brakes as well as the pedal on the right.

HMS drag racing I don't think so.

But the occasional trip to the strip is o.k. for bragging rights. Not that I have anything to brag about.

Well We did live on Vancouver island (Vic) 2 monts ago but my wife got recruted to work in Smithers!! I thought it would be nice lol There is NOT a single place to get aftermarket parts Here!!! So for the last two monts I have been buying and shipping from Van and the island. I just picked up a 89 RS with a 305 from the island and had to have it driven up buy family.
so far its looking like 5 monts to build the car befor i can see pavement (long winter) But it will give me time to do this one up right I guess.

fiery red, 15" eagles with white letter radials, black interior cloth and vinyl seats, black carpet, like new door pads, rocker panel trim, got new ground effects to install and paint up, rear spoiler fin with light, power antennae, new door and t-top seals, fog light kit for behind the grill, need some money, no A/C.

 

Where did you find the 89 RS and what did it set you back?

 

Used Vic. It was for sale for about 6 monts lol White one in Sooke. I paid 900. Motor is still running good enuff to get to Smithers but I will be scrappin pretty much everything this winter. I was just after a good body.And I couldn't find a Nova so it was second pick.

 

I think you got a good deal, if you like hard tops. I couldn't go to Sooke, but I went to Crofton, where I got mine.
