350 question??

Ok I'm just getting started with a 350 block for a 82-92 Camaro build looking to have it bored out to a 383.. Has anyone done a 383 LS1 build?

Re: 350 question??

Well it has a few things to deal with first. Is is a DD? WW? (Weekend Warrior?) Strictly track? Ls is amazing, and i am going to do one in the next 2 or 3 years, going to be a SS clone a SC'd 6.2. Im gonna have Independent suspension all the way around( thank god for welding schools! and I don't know if it will be my DD or track car. For now I have a vortec 350 in. If you are looking for for run now, you can get a nice running l31 for a deal. you can go tpi or carb'd to. Sbc's are fun an all, but so are ls engines. Why not have one be sbc and have another be lsx? But yeah, lq4/lq9 is like 350's to 305s, even though 5.3s are much better than 305s.
