I just picked up a 91 Z28 and live Oregon City area. I am a complete FNG on the 3rd gen. If any one is nearby, let me know. I also own 68RS, 81Z28, and a 13 ZL850 TrackSpec ZL1 built by JDP Motorsports. Glad to finally be in a 3rd gen but have a ton to learn. Looking at Lowering and rims soon. Have a bitchin Day.

I've been working on 3rd and 4th gens for the last couple years. Been building a 91 RS and doing a big block swap for the last six months or so. I still have a long way to go on it. I live out in Estacada and have been looking for other folks who are into 3rd gens to hang out with. PM me if there's anything i can help with. Even if you need another wrench, since we're practically neighbors. Right now I'm right in the middle of rebuilding the front suspension on my car after discovering everything was clapped out. I'm not doing any major suspension upgrades right now, just replacing all the bushings with urethane stuff as I clean and repaint stuff.

 

That is awesome. I live in Redland. Still learning about this gen. Would dig seeing your progress.

let us try to iniate somesort of group action here. I have a heavily modded 83 Cam and currently working on a 3rd gen Firebird. Doing frame stiffeners and a 4130 drag cage.

Would love to chat about the 3rd Gen.

 

Have the new Weld wheels going on soon. Looking at doing some UMI suspensions. Weight jacks, the bar relocation, and torque arm upgrades etc. Any one have any issues with UMI?

 

think this is already installed on the frame of our 86.
