The Toys for Tots parade will be Sunday, Nov 27. Staging location for the "hot rods, custom cars, etc," prior to the parade drive-through Waikiki will be at Magic Island 8:30-9 a.m., the parade starts at 10 a.m.

This is a great event to see-hear-feel up-close hundreds of great cars, many of which are in storage all year, some are in the "million-dollar" category. Anyone can come and park in there, walk around and have a good time, such as myself and my digital camera. If you have the christmas spirit, bring a $5 NIB toy and follow the parade through town to the zoo to drop it off, then park and talk story with gearheads some more.

In past years, I've seen Cobras, Pantaras, exotics, Lambos, bugs with blown hemis, z28s, ZL1 Chevelles, all kinds of special interest cars, and of course -- Third Gens!

 

The Chevelle with the ZL1 plate is not a ZL1 car.

8:00 am Ohana Road will be filming.
No police escort.
All toys stay in Hawaii.
Also bring can goods for Hawaii Food Bank.
