Schofield Junkyard?

I just talked to acescarrsRS about a fuel line. GM no longer makes what I am looking for nor do the auto parts stores have it. I could have one made, but I'd rather buy one. This is what I need:

The fuel feed line for a 5.7L TPI. This feeds fuel from the tank to the fuel lines on the engine. The hose/line is on the driver's side in the engine compartment near the washer fluid resivior.

acescarrsRS told me that the junkyard in Schofield barracks usually has third gen Camaros. Has anyone been there recently?

Or, if any of you have what I need, I'll gladly buy it from you. Thanks.

I work at Schofield, there are three 3rdGens in the yard now. Give me a call at work 7-11 a.m. 655-4376, ask for Ed, I'll hook you up.

Are these the metal hardlines on the drivers side of the engine going from the rubber fuel lines to the TPI fuel rail? I believe these are needed to do a TPI swap? If so, I have a set and you can buy them for what I paid (got em off E-bay). I bought em a long time ago for a TPI conversion that never happened. :-(

He needs the rubber inlet feedline that connects the hardlines. I found at least one set at Schofield yesterday, but couldn't get them off one-handed [slammed a cardoor on one of my fingers a few days ago, sigh, stoopid me...]. He cut the original line to install an external fuel pump, so I advised him to merely insert a metal joiner and use hose clamps until a replacement is obtained.

If you come in the Lyman gate, you will make a left into a road which is a one way. Don't know what the name of the road is, you follow that around some buildings, then make a right, follow that road all the way back to a small parking lot. You will not be able to go ant further and the yard is right there on the left, besides the vet clinic.

You are on Hickam right? Is there a yard out there? If so where?

For anyone else, Is there a yard on Pearl Harbor? Also I was told there is one on Ft Shafter, but where is it?

See my remarks in "[brackets]".

FYI military ID is required to enter unless the person has a military sponsor. Also, no slippers or bare feet.

Haha , yeah I guess thats the name of the road, cause I know thats Duck field right there too. We use that sometimes to stage our trucks for inspection before going to PTA on the Big Island.

Aha! So you're the guys blocking the right side of the road when I exit! BTW, the road sign gets stolen a lot. Not me, I promise!

Have a nice collection of road signs eh, lol just kidding. But yeah they used the field a couple years back for that, I think the National gurad was doing some training there too for a while. We just use area X for field training and go down range as well.
I havent been out to the yard in a while though, may go tomorrow if I get a chance, never know what I will find. Any 4th gens out there right now?

Running

Thank you for the help Duck. However, I got my IROC running Friday night. The high pressure fuel lines from a V6 1992 Firebird does fit V8 TPI cars. I got the fuel lines from that junkyard behind the old Pearl City Tavern. That F-body car was the only one in the yard. The engine was intact if anyone needed stuff from it.
