My Z28 needs body work also, theirs holes in my roof. Im trying to round up some Oahu TGO members for a cruise & hangout.

 

Karl got the running ones.... I parted the other ones out...

This is the 1st 3rd gen I had any intention of keeping....

Anyone see the black Z28 on CL for $2K? looked decent.. but I cant bring anymore **** home.... yet.

 

My friend Ed still has his ex HPD B4C... he's patching rust holes too!

 

Is your car the one I used to see at the coffee shop in Kalihi all the time?

 

Whos doing his bodywork? Yeah I saw that, I got ahold of the guy, then he just stopped texting me back.

 

I picked up Shawns car (Crazy Hawaiian) trying to get that running again.

What's Shawn been up to? I never thought he'd sell that really great Third Gen, it was totally awesome. What kind of shape is it in now?

BTW, if John Pinaro still has his performance garage in Wahiawa, he's a mechanic with lots of race and mechanical skills with our cars.

I've been living in SoCal the past couple of years. It's been enjoyable being able to drive more than 30 miles in a straight line without turning into a submarine.

Hey Ed, your car is looking great. I knew the previous owner that sold the car to Shawn, i worked on that car alot, so I know it inside & out. It needs some bodywork, some rust starting to show. Ill post some pics. Its not running at the moment, he pulled the super charger. It cranks but doesnt start, tans is shot, but im buying a used one from another Hawaii member on here, Anthony I forget his SN. As for Shawn, yea he sold alot of his Thirdgen stuff. His job sent him overseas, but he said he will be back.

 

Coffee shop? I dunno I usually stop by Megs drive in to pick up sumthin to eat. There is another Z around Kalihi that belongs to Garret his has a purple stripe on his ground effects.

Yes the Orange one, I know the guy that painted it, so im hoping I can get it running & he can repainted.

We should all meet up!!!!! I have some other guys willing to meet with their 3rd gens.

I live in Kona on the Big Island. I just bought a 1991 Z28, G92 option! This is my second 3rd gen Camaro. My first car was a Black 1990 Iroc 5.7. Down for a cruise anytime in Kona!

 

I thought he was going to send that to his mom....

 

Nope, he ended up selling it & I got it.

 

You guys in Hawaii have some nice third gens over there. I saw a couple on Maui back in 2008 that were nice looking rides.

We're going to be in pretty good control of any dust...we've gotten pretty good at controlling it. Entire show lot will be packed gravel that's been rolled and watered. Should be fine. We didn't have any problems for our Open House, and it's the same thing basically.

 

So its June 2, what time?

Yep, I am still around! Have a 1992 B4C now though. Car really went down hill the last few years, what started as a small hole over the passenger window really grew. I need to patch that, and then start the body work...definately on the agenda for this summer.
