Since i'm going ahead on my next motor project I am guaging interest in my 305. New oil pump, pickup, all new gasket set, new head bolts, new comp XE262 cam with new lifters, 416 heads completely magnafluxed and gone through. All new springs, seals, etc. New double roller timing chain. Motor does not leak a drop of oil and gets 150-155 on the compression tester. Motor has 80k total on it. All bearings pulled and no ring ridge that I remember. Looking for less than what I have into it. Makes 55 psi oil pressure cold and 40psi hot I believe from what I remember. SOLD!!!!!!!!

Hello, question about the cam stated above. Would it be a decent one to throw in a mild 305 TPI?

 

yes it would be a decent cam in a TPI with some tuning, although the motor can be spun higher and make upper RPM power with a carb setup, but if the TPI has aftermarket pieces it would perform even better.
