3.1l V6 Hypertech Power Pullies
I had these on her 90 3.1l auto v6 firebird
we junked the car.
these worked well
definately gave a seat of the pants increase in power
improved gasmileage too
used to use these on long trips on the highway
gave some nice pep to the V6
made a nice addition especially with the AC on
never really had an issue using them.
been in the shed for about 4 years now
someone should take these
hypertech doesn't list these anymore
and they dont have a part number on the box
i had the belt i used, just can't find it at the moment
i think it was one size smaller (990 was the part number for the standard belt, i think 970 sticks out for some reason)
perhaps a call to hypertech can help
these are perfect
just have dust from sitting
i even used just the crank pulley, and left the alt alone, just slightly less power (seat of the pants feel)
i didn't have any overheating issues, but you might want to just use a lower T stat, i never did, used the standard 195 (180 would be perfect)
again, with gas prices higher now, this is a nice little goodie to have
have original box, no instructions or part numbers sorry..
i believe this would fit any 60 degree v6 of that era
i want $25 for it
shipped from zipcode 11784
probably about 3lbs total is my guess
it was a piece of cake to install, even if you just plan to use it for when you go out cruising
i have a high amp 170 amp CS130 alternator that might fit too, if interested, email me. it's brand new, but big $$
