Thirdgen TH350 Conversion With 3000 Stall
I am posting this to see if anyone would be interested in a TH-350, Ready to go in a thirdgen. Tomorrow I will be picking up my T56 conversion, just because while awesome for the drag stip, the 350 trans is not so good for street driving in respects to gas mileage. Since I bought my Iroc 6 years ago I have had this tranny in it. I do not think there is a better setup for the quarter mile. I added the B&M 10" 2800-3200 Stall Converter. The trans is far as I know has always had a shift kit, and I have never been in a car with a better shifting transmission. Also it has the special bracket to hook the torque arm to it. Finally, the proper length driveshaft is included, and it was balanced when I was putting my stall converter in. If you are into the quarter mile, then you can make some major gains with the transmission setup, a pair of drag radials, and if you want to top it off, some drag launch springs and better lower control arms. I will try to get to the track once more before I put the T56 in to get some time slips to show you what's up when you put this in an L98 with stock block, heads, cam, and only bolt ons. The stall converter has only been used at the track, the tags were taken off the car to be used only at the track before I got the stall. Now that I finally found a t56 conversion that I could buy, and with 20 years old for my 87 coming in september, I will be getting some antique tags and it will finally see the road again after 4 years of only a few seldom trips to the drag strip, less than 10 days of drag racing, probaly a total of like 50-60 passes on the stall converter with a mild motor. If you are interested, make an offer. Please consider the almost new 10" converter. The trans is in the baltimore maryland area. My email is bneuberthz@hotmail.com. If you are in the area, you could possibly take it for a pass at the track maybe, no tags, but it is located on private property where you could take it up the road. If I do not get any good offers I'll just keep it for another project, it is good for the older cars as well as thirdgens, I just think it makes such a great improvement over a 700r4 or a manual trans if you are into quarter mile times.

I am also willing to ship at buyer's expense if necessary, unlike many out there, I would not be too lazy to ship it just because it's large.
