i need an 85-92 trans am hood i know shipping isnt going to work so anyone in the southern states that has one let me know......la,fla,ms,tx,ak,al

 

I am almost positive that the hoods were not 100% interchangeable from 85-92. from 82-90 the hoods are interchangable (Trans Am,Formula,Gta or Firebird doesn't matter) but 91-92 the headlight doors are shaped differantly so I think to use a hood from 91-92 car you would also have to change the headlight doors. I am about 95% sure on this so you may want to check this out before you might come accross a 91-92 hood and find out it won't be a straight forward swap with you old hood. hopefully someone else can jump in on this thread if they know for sure.
