TPI MAF PROM/chip(s)

Looking for 86'-87' TPI MAF EPROM's for automatics. Stock prefered, ECM included might be ok too but mine is fine. I ruined my EPROM and would like to get my car back up and running . Let me know what you have!

Thanks, if its from an automatic I would like it, asap, depending on price of course .

Just to make sure too, this is the whole CALPAK thing that snaps in, correct? Not just the EPROM itself with the pins....thanks again.

I'm fairly certain it's from a automatic car since I had bought a ecm and harness together and it had the lockup wiring for the transmission ..... yes it will be the complete prom chip with that blue holder looking thing I think that was what color it was, but at any rate it will come complete ready to plug into your ecm .... tomorrow I will get the numbers off it and give them to you, I have no way of referencing these numbers. it will be cheap will let it go for 25.00 shipped if it's the correct one you need.

That works for me, let me know your e-mail and I will give you my shipping information.

The PROM codes are linked on this site, as for what options they are meant for(gears/tranny, etc.), no big deal about deciphering them if its from a 87' auto it will work just fine. Thanks again!

monte

sorry the memcal isn't from a 1987 tpi car .... here are the numbers on it

4145
AUM
3236

1986 5.0-F Fed, Calif, A/C, 235/60/15&16 tires

1228291

3236AUM 8958AMU 8969ANB
8980ANY 8993AUM

the ecm it was in was a 7165 which I'm certain is TPI ecm, but this site lists engine codes a "F" and I don't know if thats even a TPI motor and it doesnt list transmission type so this could have been for a 5 speed even though my harness was a automatic one.

your call sorry thats all I could get on this thing, heres what it looks like though it's a blue rectangle looking thing with about a 50 pin connector on the bottom, it has no aftermarket names or anything on it, on the side of it there are number in white which read 68767 94125 2 .

if it's what you can use let me know, if it doesnt work for any reason let me know and I will give you a full refund as long as it hasn't been tampered with.

sorry again thought it was a 1987 memcal

Hmmm....thanks for the info. I will take my chances with it, I'm sure it will be fine. The year 86' vs. 87' shouldn't make a difference at all really, the 87's got a roller cam that 86's don't have but I think it should be fine. Odd that it doesn't list whether its an auto or manual car though.

I'll take it though, if for some reason it doesn't work well at all I might take that offer on the refund but I'm pretty sure it will be fine. Might start another thread to see if anyone knows for sure though. But if you can ship it out USPS Priority tommorow, that would be awesome! I'll assume you can accept PayPal, just let me know.....

If that doesn't work out, let me know. I have an ACXT memcal which is an 87 305 TPI with a 700R4 and 3.42 gears.

I might be interested in that one as well, depending on your price. Let me know...after not having a backup, I'm open to the idea now...

I'm not going to lose any money on this by saying 25.00 shipped when that price is for the cheapest shipping like 5-7 days, Sorry I'm not paying 15 for priority mailing something and make nothing off the chip. I'de go with this other guys memcal

If I have to pay extra for Priority I will. Priority in a small box is $3.85(its pretty much standard price anywhere), a box large enough to hold a few CALPAKs actually. If for some reason its more, I can deal with it. I'd be shocked if its close to $10 or more. Id rather not wait 10 days to get my car running again if I can help it, if shipping is really that much more I will pay the extra cost. I'm honestly hoping to get it running by the end of the week, which using Priority would let me do. Let me know....

Jproz, monte is correct about shipping. Priority mail is 3.85 for that chip, and it will get to him within 2-3 days anywhere in the US.

Monte, I can let this one go for the same price, $25 shipped.

92blue, I will take it. If you take PayPal I can send money asap, like I said I'd like to get this chip and my car running again very soon especially with the nice weather we are finally getting . Beats driving my beater Cavalier....anyways let me know how you'd like payment and as soon as you can get it out I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks again.

Jproz, if you are still ok with selling yours for $25 shipped I will take it yet as well, like I said I wouldn't mind a spare at all. Again, just let me know....thanks.
