I need a front end, bottom ground effects peice for my 83 z28.(the one that always gets knocked off!) . Only 1984 and 83 will work. Any help would be greatly appricated.

If you are not trying to retain the look of the 83/84 I believe ANY year from 82-92 will fit on the front of your Camaro. Obviously you cannot mix the ground effect from a '90's nose with the '83 nose. But if you are looking for both pieces you should have not problems using the ENTIRE nose off another year. ,

My son and I are working on our '82 Z-28. We just installed a nose from an '85 on it, FIT PERFECTLY. In addition, we purchased a extra COMPLETE nose from a '90 that also FITS PERFECTLY. The 90's models gound effects are much better constructed than the '82,3,4,5... You do have to grab the turn signals from whatever year you get as they are very different from the earlier models.

Look at the "ENGINE SWAP" section, "Unfortunate, engine swap victim ADVISE PLEASE", Page #3. The extra nose we have is shown there. You should be able to get a nose from a J.Yard that doesn't need too much repair for $50-75. We purchased our replacement RED '85 nose for $40, and the WHITE '90 nose for $30. Both were taken from a U-Pull-It yard.
