Hi I am looking for a useable 305 roller motor (tbi or tpi) within driving distance of Philadelphia, PA. Must be useable without complete rebuild, must be cheap. I am looking for a stock low performance roller motor to use in a daily driver 3rd gen, not anything fancy. Short block is ok if its really really cheap, long block w/ accessories preferred. I can get a complete engine with all accessories for $150 locally at a u pull junkyard 5 miles from here but not having to pull an engine myself might be worth driving for.

 

I have a 91 305 tpi long block no intake hade 85000 on that car. and a 92 305 tbi long block good runner with 150000 make an offer. milwakee is onley 8 or 10 hr drive

 

I'm on Long Island NY 11772. Got a 305 90 TPI roller motor, long block. Ran strong when pulled. Needs intake and accesories. $50 bucks come and get it.

have a TPI out of my 86 IROC- 127k miles, and it burned a small amount of oil- 1/4 quart a month. but no funky noises or anything and it ran great before removal.

Comes with TPI baseplate, engine, AIR system, and if you would like i also have the exhaust manifolds, and complete stock exhaust system - no holes.

you will need all the pulleys,sensors, and acc. brackets though- putting them on my 350

 

Indiroc, you are 12 hours 45 minutes from me. I would sooner make an engine entirely out of wood than drive that far
