I'm new.Sort of,been here before a few years ago.Anyhow,I need the 5-speed shifter plate with the 4 bolt holes in it to fit my 83 Trans Am.I have the 6 bolt hole version.I will buy it if you want to sell,or I can swap my 6-bolt one for your 4-bolt one.I don't need the boot,got a new one.

I thought I saw one on e-bay not too long ago (cought my eye being the 4 bolt vs the 6 bolt I am used to seeing in the older cars) anyway if I do go to the junk yard this weekend I will keep an eye open for you.

btw what is a price range on that? I mean from a junk yard since they usally charge more

 

Well,I went to the bone yard today and scrounged lots of parts.I picked up a deluxe console bottom for 6 bolt shifter plate with grey carpet and a top with the holes for power windows and hatch release.Cost me $8.00.I also raped a Formula of it's sway bars and brand new tie rods,complete.Sway bars cost me $6.00 a piece and the tie rod assemblies cost me $5.00 per side.I also picked up the formula wheels,2 front 2 rear,$20.00 a piece.

I don't know what junk yard you go to,but the ones here are outrageously cheap.They are starting to stock 4th gens too.

Well,I no longer need the plate,so thanks anyway.
