hi guys, I need a set of 8 TPI or TBI 305 std bore pistons. I prefer they come assembled on rods but if you have just the pistons I can still use them.

I have a set out of an 85 HO Iroc. What were you looking to pay. I will have to break down the engine, i dont have any already out........jt

Don't worry about it if they are not already out, 305 used pistons are not worth enough to take a whole engine apart, plus I'm going to need them very soon. I can get a new set for $85, but that just adds to how much this POS 305 engine I'm slapping back together has cost me.

I have a great running 305 you can have for $200 if you want to just drop one in, 1990 longblock with TBI intake, ran great no smoke no noises. I am 3 hours from Philly.

No thanks drop top. this 305 I am working on was a "great running" engine that I picked up w/ a 700R4 trans. I was just going to replace gaskets but when I saw the condition of the internals it became a full on rebuild. I am pulling a set of 8 pistons from a junkyard van, surprisingly the oil pan came off without having to unbolt the motor mounts or drop the pump or anything. Thanks anyway guys.

No problem, just figured I would try and save you some time and offer a good deal. I have close to 40 engines and have been selling them off since I will never use them all, this one just got pulled last week.
