1983 5.0 4bbl auto COMPUTER WANTED
hi guys I need a PROM (or the whole computer with the prom) for a 1983 5.0 carbed, automatic F body. The last one I bought on the board is DOA and I have to return the one I borrowed to verify that my system is indeed good soon.

Camaro, every single year is a different part # ecu! They don't even close to interchange. John thanks, I just bought that exact ECU from a junkyard today and all is good now, everything works. Thanks!

there wre minor changes every year on this it seems, started in 81
one little different sensor or something else and it changed it all
wasnt the same on every engine and car,
some carbs had two electrical plugs, some had one,
other things like that,
its random through the years, etc
some were EST(early years) and others were ESC
