All up to you, I really do like the Hooker Aerochamber cat-backs with a decatted car and headers.

But my own car has a B-body which has very similar compression to the L98, and a similar working range idle-5400rpm. So with 2055 headers, and a SLP 2otL cat-back you get something that sounds kinda like this:

 

Not sure if its the best sounding but I sure as hell think it is.

Except for Ironreaper's second video Reid Fleming's video, is it just the video quality or are all of the rest of you guy's misfiring like a son of a bitch

 

My car wasn't misfiring at all.

 

First vid has a slight tick on the #8 primary because the threads are a little screwed up. I have another set of ported heads so I never cared to fix it. I'd just replace the gasket every 6 months or so.

The in-car and drag video are without the leak, and it wasn't mis-firing. Audio wise? Thats pretty much what it sounds like.

I prefer to stay away from any "truckish" like sound. I want a more exotic, european V8 note.

Here's what I'm running. stock '91 LB9. Dyno Don headers 1.75" primaries, 2.5" collectors. 2.5" to 3" y-pipe. 3" SLP Loudmouth 2 cat-back.

I absolutely love the way my car sounds. I get compliments almost daily for the exhaust note.

Oh yeah I'm glad people are showing some love for the Powersticks!

They are on my stock 5.7 and I think they sound badass. Can't wait till I get enough mileage on it to justify my engine swap.

 

What was the WHP your car made with Dyno Don Headers? Can you share the numbers?

 

216 hp and 276 ft/lbs on a stock LB9

 

2210s into a 3 inch Y into a 4 inch over the axle into a spintech 4x3x3 400plus RWH. Best I ever heard. Borla would be second.

 

What model spintech is on it? Have any vids of it?

We're you getting it tune or was it just to see how much did it make? What was the baseline numbers?

Here's another car with Dyno Don's Headers, dual cats and 3in cat-back with Magnaflow Muffler.

 

Those are the only baseline numbers I have. Unfortunately I never had it dyno'd with stock exhaust. It was during a dyno day for the Cascade Crew. I'm goin to dyno my car again in April and I should have some tuning done before then so we'll see how much it picks up.

 

Where is your muffler dumped at and does it drone much at cruising speeds?

 

Muffler is in the stock location. It's not bad inside the car. It gets really loud above 3000rpm. But a good loud. I'm extremely happy with the muffler.

 

Are you running two powersticks or just one?
