well, as to be expected NOTHING fits, so ive been fabricating **** for the better part of a month now. i had to relocated the proportioning valve, and actually bend the brake booster mounting flange to allow the air filter to attach to the blower.
you know that sinking feeling you get when parts show up, and they aren't even remotely what you hoped they were?
im in the process of uploading pics right now lol........the sweet pulley i got from RCD racing is awesome.....however, it is not the same bolt circle diameter as the three balancer bolts like i thought.....apparently the guy misunderstood me.....but i was like oh well......i'll make it work, seeing as theres no alternative lol......
so bob and i got out the machine tools and cut a custom bushing on the metal lathe, that concentrically locates the pulley with the ATI crank hub, by fitting inside the pulley and having a recessed opening that fits over the boss on the ATI hub......it fits MINT.....machined thing to within a few thousandths and it was a perfect centered fit.....that allowed us to locate the pulley where it needs to go
next step is to drill and tap the crank hub for studs and 12 point nuts to attach it to the pulley.....then counter-bore the remaining three holes in the pulley to fit over the 3 balancer bolts that hold the crank hub on.

Heres a few more pics......some more finished pics to come tonight when i get done
almost done......after alot more machine work than i thought lol......its bolted to the crank hub with allen head bolts, cause even the 12 point nuts were too close to the sides to get a socket on.
i also dowel pinned the pulleys together to locate them concentrically and make sure they don't move with (3) 3/16 dowel pins so all the bolts do is hold them together, to pins locate the pulley.......3600lb sheer strength each should be good enough lol.
all i have left to do is clearance the back of the alternator pulley (silver) for the balancer bolt heads.
yesterday while i was tapping the crank hub, the tap snapped off flush on both sides inside the crank hub.....i almost ****in cried.....all my attempts to remove it failedso i just left and went to the gym.....when i got back my dad goes "i got that piece out, and threaded all the holes" i was like wtf.....how did you....nevermind i don't wanna know.
the old man apparently noticed my emotional distress and somehow got the piece out while i was gone lol.....he does **** like that somtimes, some of the **** he figures out is sick
