If you are looking for a REAL chip at a decent price check this guy out....He burnt my chip for the turbo T/A and I really couldnt be happier. This isnt just some flake either he is very knowledgable on third gen Fbodies. He sells custom chips on ebay as well but dont let that take anything away from his abilities.

basicly what it does is trick the box into thinking that your engine is running colder, and adds timing/fuel based on this. Not a good idea at all, get a chip made, check the tuning forums to learn how to make your own, or get an aftermarket box (DFI, megasquirt etc). If you're using a power adder be wary of out of the box chips, they tend to add timing which is a bad idea unless you're running race fuel.
