Whipple Charger?

I was wondering if anyone has any experiance with Whipple or Kenne Bell charger's? My friend has a vortech set-up on his car now and is pulling it in order to change to K/B set-up. He's not happy with the drivability of his current set-up.His car is strictly street driven and he feel's that the rpm range that his car is making the big power is virtually unusable (personally I think I would be happy if he gave me his old set-up for christmas )Has anyone got a comparison in horsepower/torque curves for the different style system's??......Thank's........SR

Whipples are really good blowers, more efficient than centrifigul blowers like vortechs. Their problems are high price, available sizes, and available kit applications. if none of that bothers you, then by all means go for it.

there also seems to be a tip in part throttle detonation problem and poor customer support with the whipples.
