N2O jets = hp? Formula?
I have an older NOS kit, with the 2 fogger nozzles.
NOS instructions say 38 N2O/ 22 fuel = 110hp
52 N2O/28 fuel = 150 hp
Right now I'm running 28 N2O/20 fuel =?? hp i guess ~50 hp
And I want to move up to something around 70-80 hp. The jets I have right now are 20, 22, 28, 38, 46 and my fuel pressure is ~51psi with the vaccum hose off.
I may lower the fuel pressure some for tunning reasons.
Anyways, I was thinking about 34N2O/20 fuel = goal of 70-80hp?
Any help would be nice. Oh yeah bottle pressure is usually in the 750-800psi range.
My car is a 305 TPI, 5 speed, crane 2032 cam, 1.6RR, siamesed base, etc... 104,000 miles.
I plan on running a RPM switch now since I have new found traction and can actually floor it right off in 1st gear now. I was planning on having the N2O kick in at 3000rpm.
Does that sound good?
