50hp shot of n2o or no?
right now i have a TBI 305 with 106k miles on it. i want to switch over and get a edelbrock intake, and a holley carb (maybe a road demon) ill be getting a new distributer with coil, and ill change plugs (i have platinums now). i have new accell 8mm wires the car runs good still pretty strong for what it is anyways. doesnt burn oil except at startup (valve seals). I want to switch heads, cam, and all that good stuff but ive been told i still couldnt outrun a 5.0 so what if i stuck a 50hp shot on it? im sure a 50hp down right would be fine wouldnt it?

I didn't have trouble beating stock or midly modded 5.0 GTs or LXs with the 305 TPI that my car was stock with after changing the cam, runners, porting the plenum, adding Headers and a catback.
I'd say with what you intend to do and if you tune it right, you shouldn't have much trouble with a stock one even without the nitrous.
You could just take the easy (and probably quicker) way out and just install a Nitrous Express kit on your TBI setup. Their TBI kit has jets for 50, 75, 100 and 125 HP levels and can be used on a stock engine.
Adding 100 or 125 HP to your engine should make the 5.0 guys wonder what you did.:hail:
There is a Nitrous Express dealer in St. Albans, WV.

im doing away with TBI its not running right and would require chips and all that crap. right now the computer thinks im getting very low volts when i know im getting plenty (tested) which causes my car to stall out from time to time.
