383 stroker LT1.......NOS??
383 stroker LT1.......NOS??
Would it be safe to run NOS on a 383 stroker LT1. Right now i just pulled the LO3 305 TBI. I have just purchased a 95 LT1 with 6 speed transmission. I decided to rebuild it and stroke it to a 383. I am putting a cam and shaving the heads and port and polishing the heads also. How high of compression can i put it up to and be able to run NOS on it. As you can tell, i am trying to be able to pull up the front end with about $1000 in suspension. Can someone help me with the engine i am trying to build or any feedback you have. Thanks

Of course you can, NOS likes compression
, as far as the heads, get a quality ported set, heres some that people have been getting very good results with http://63.96.253.179/SkarodoM/heads/...SProducts.html
and the pricing isnt half bad either.
