fuel system advice/questions

I'am running two t-bird turbos on my 89 iroc. I'am putting the walbro 340 intank and a pusher pump for the fuel system. I have 24#svo injectors know and want to know what is the limit injector size for the factory computer? I want to use a FMU and run up to 10psi with the factory ecm and MAF. My car is currently a 350efi 9:1cr with the stock chip running 12.7@111mph. I want 42 or even 50#s but doubt the factory ecm and MAF will be able to run it? The headers are done i will post pics no later then next week. either way i will find out and will probably end up with a high dollar wide band computer by late winter.

50lb high impedence injectors are the biggest you can go....

max hp for the 24lb injectors even with massive fuel pressure is MAYBE 450hp-475hp

i know you dont want to hear this either....but using a pusher pump after the 340 intank isn't really doing anything. Jack@Racetronix can explain it better but you should just run the intank as far as you can go then upgrade

Really a stock unmodified ECM will drive 50# injectors? it will start drive and run ok? the biggest I have ever seen was an 89 iroc with a vortech and 30# SVO's the BLM and INTGR were really maxed out.

Well, i dont know how the car would run. I'm sure you would have to do some tuning....

BUT

they are high impedence and the computer will run them

They dont make larger than 50lbs that are high impedence......

50lbs are the max and even some people have some problems controlling those too
