a power booster on a small car

hey,

i'm new here... and this is my 1st post....
i have a new car, and since im not from the US (and the gas here is expensive) i had to buy a car with a 1.4 liter engine... (2nd hand)

now the car is really light(has about 800 KG, that's about 1700 pounds), and i thought that if i put a turbo charger or something on it it would really fly...

now i am interested, would it cost more to have a mechanic install a turbo charger on it, or would i get a better deal buying a new 1.4 or 1.6 turbo engine....

if you can recommend some web pages with more info about this that would be great.... and also pages of stores that sell the equipment...

any answer would be appriciated

thx,,,

what about getting a bolt on kit for your particular setup and do it yourself.

but if you were to get a turbo engine, you can probably run more boost than on your stock engine.

welcome to the board

that can be quite a quick little car. not much there.

now it is gonna be easy to modify the turbo engine by putting a bigger turbo on it and the correct fuel manegment system on it.

good luck and post some pics.

later
