NOS question
NOS question
Im putting a 350 horse 383 engine in my car and im going to get the chip dyno tuned by Ed Wright at fastchip. I also want to put a 125 NOS shot on it. Ive heard that with NOS the timing must be retarded a few degrees, and thats from a stock setting. If i get an aftermarket chip, the timing is going to be advanced and it would be dangerous to run the NOS then. Is there any way, besides getting out and adjusting the timing, to run the NOS system safely with the aftermarket chip? Im building this car to kill ricers and some stupid @#$#@%! stangs.

buy an MSD digital 6, it has a wire to connect to your selenoids that dials back up to 9 degrees of timing ONLY when the nitrous is cycling.
