What would I have to do to my Edel carb to use a carb hat?
What would I have to do to my Edel carb to use a carb hat?
I'm having troubles find a carb box so I was thinking of going with a bonnet. Would I need to mill off the choke horn? I don't have a choke on it anyway so no prob doing that if I have to. Anything else I'd have to do? I have a 1412 800 CFM carb. Thanks.

I would recommend milling the choke horn is for proper distribution of the air coming into the bonnet.
I'm not super familiar with the edelbrock carb, but as long as the fuel bowls are pressurised and the fuel mix is richened enough, you're all set..
Oh wait, make sure you have nitrophyl (sp?) solid floats too.. If it it even has em.. You can fill the floats if you don't want to buy new ones.
I think that's it...
Cheers!
