Carb hat arrived today!

Man what a monster this thing is!! It has a 4" inlet and has a fitting for my boost referenced FPR.. I can't wait to get all this stuff together!

Really? There was another guy on the list selling a polished ATI one with a 3" inlet for less than 100 US.. It's gone now tho..

unfortunatley people are selling them because they cause more problems than they are worth for blow through. they were never designed for blow through. they were designed to be drawn through for moderately sized 6 cyl for remote filter location. check out the k/n cataloge. it says it right in there.

Kevin is right. That setup is somewhat on the low side and the pressureized air charge can blow across the top of the carb creating a situation where it's difficlut, if not impossible to tune.

OTOH, If you go to www.toohighpsi.com you'll find that he used it successfully on his TT capri, but did have to run an auxiliary injector to get enough fuel in the engine.
