I have a polishing business, so I know what labor needs to go into these things to look nice, how do they come? I assume someone will have, or know someone that has a polished Procharger. Hopefully, it looks good, I would rather pay the extra and save myself the work

I have the polished version, after looking at it, i think polishing a cast one would be really tough, not to mention time consuming, plus you would probbably want to polish the tubes going too and from the intercooler, add that up thats a crapload of labor, i suggest buying the polished version, unless you have the time, tools, and patience for polishing....

I don't have any pics, but I got the polished version. They do a lot of work, but I think they could have taken a little more time on the actual supercharger housing. It looks really good, but I can be picky about stuff like that. Especially when I'm the one paying for it.

about polishing...

how is it done exactly? They take the rough aluminum casting and do what with it to make it smooth and shiny?

I have a few un-polished things i would like to either get power coated or polish myself. How is polishing done? I mean the aluminum is so ROUGH and COURSE as it is, that satin finish, i just dont see how you can possibly make it smooth and shiny?
