This was an on the fence type of modification when I decided to do it but I figured I would be pushing the speeds sometime in the near future to need one and due tothe fact that we will be painting the car and doing body work this spring, I decided to get it now instead of later and do more body work.

hehe

I know this isnt the suspension forum but I talk to a lot of people on this board and figured you guys would get a kick out of this.

Where is the chute? You know you will be needing one of those soon also. This is going to be a good year for the third genners!

 

It is another planned modification for this winter. I have other things I need to get done. Here is a list of the pile of parts I have sitting at the house waiting to be installed.

Hey Guido,

I know this is off topic, but can you give me any more info on how you mounted your remote batter turn off switch.. I see it poking out the tailight there and it's exactly where I want to put mine..

I dont have it hooked up actually. I think Im going to remove it from there and mount it inside the car on the front of the back panel. If that makes any sense. Then Im going to build a bracket for it to mount on, and another brakcet to bolt in place of the switch. Then a rod through the rear firewall with a handle on it to make it a push pull type.

Its damn near impossible to get the battery cables routed the correct way with the switch mounted like that.

 

I know exactly what you mean... I also thought of doing something like what you're describing, only thing I would put the T handle behind my gas cap so it doesn't protrude from the car.. Wonder if it would be leagal to be under the gas cap?

Any idea?
