How much was your procharger?
And which one do you have? I searched and searched this board and emailed companies that sell prochargers and have nothing. Im looking to get a P-1SC with the 2 core intercooler. Also, does anyone know what it takes to become a procharger distributor, the company i work for is willing to become one if it doesn cost anything and i will be able to sell them to anyone really really cheap if we become a distributor.
thanks alot
thanks alot
I have a P1SC w/ a 3 core intercooler. I'm too lazy to look for the price I paid, but it wasn't cheap. It is worth the upgrade to the 3 core intercooler. As far as being a distributor I think it costs quite a bit of money, which is why not everyone carries them.
I have been looking into a procharger supercharger for my 92 Camaro. The best site I have found for information is http://www.tenperf.com/. Contact David Beck with questions and for additional information on your application. His email address is dback@tenperf.com. He has answered many of my questions. Other sites are http://www.jdsperformance.com/index.asp. and if you haven't been there, you may be able to find a lot of useful information on ProCharger's site at http://www.procharger.com. The P-1SC has a radial impeller and makes boost more evenly with a more gradual onset. Procharger is also offering a P-1SCHO/2 core intercooler system with a helix impeller design that causes it to make boost more quickly and efficiently similar to the D-1SC
i dont have one, but here's a site with them..

My P1sc with 3 core was $4000 but it came with a 91 Z28 with a rod knock. the Z28 also has gaugepod with fuel and boost, roller rockers, and complete SLP exhuast with 1 3/4" all installed just recently and the guy rodknocked it and lost interest in the car, and sold it to me for $4000 (some people ask; "did you wear a mask?!?") the car can be seen in my sig.

i'd say 3,700 is a good price for a d-1sc. if you must go supercharger that is the best way to go. i wouldn't mess with the others, alot less worries.
go with the twin intercooler upgrade as it installs easier and also works better.
figure roughly 5,000 would get the setup and all the necessary parts as well as some help from a reputable shop. much more than that and walk away.
best deals are to find ones that need rebuilds for cheap.

I bought my F-1 kit from a place called Performancess.com. I paid $4100 for the entire kit. When I was looking for the cheepest prices for the prochargers I found them. I believe that their price on the D1-SC is $3550. Also Steve is a great help. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was told today I could pu a P1SC for $3220. 00 plus tax. It is not polished as I do polishing for a living. It is a 2 core intercooler and I will have to upgrade. I get a discount because of the car club I am in. Unless I find a cheaper one between now and then I will order it this weekend.
do you mean d or p?
that's not bad at all..........the best i have yet to find was a 3700 flat rate polished and upgrade to twin for a flat 4000.
the twin will make install a breeze and give you alot of other options with routing as well as better cooling.
just a thought, either way though that's a pretty good price that i wouldn't mind having myself. unfortunately i had to sell my setup for a rear, hopefully i can get back into it for around 3,000 like that in the future.
gotta make sure i can keep up with you chris!

I don't think you are going to have a problem this year. Next year we have to see. I have more plans but we will have to wait to see if they come together..
I wish I had known you were selling your Procharger. Did anyone from our group get it?
