Production 400 blocks

Those that have them with N2O,how much have you gotten out of them before they give up?I`m real skeptical about how much crack to throw at it.Check my sig for the internals,no block filler, nothing past 6000 rpm,and give me your thoughts on dosage.I`m not one for running it on the edge, would rather put the rotating assembly I have in a Little M instead of having to replace parts from a cylinder wall failing(my biggest fear!)

It's not a 3rd gen, but still a 400 sbc with N20.. My friend runs a 400 in his datsun 240z with a dual stage cheater.. The bottom end is stock rods, arp bolts and stock crank.. The rods were massaged a little, but stock none-the less.. Pistons are just trw dished pistons.. Top end is AFR 190s, wiend dual plane intake and a holley 750.. 10.8's N/A and 10.2's on a 125 shot at 134 mph... He's run this way for at least 3 years without changing engine components.. It's a 4 bolt block too.. Next year he's putting the 250hp shot to it trying for 9's..

Dunno if this provides any comfort, just thought it was relavent..

Cheers!

GP, i was worried about the same things. I pulled all the good internals and put them in a Dart Little-M.

The only thing I worry about now, is this crank breaking because I make too much power. Eagle 4340 forged. LOL
