60 ft was 1.71, not that bad but I was expecting to run bout 113 mph anyway. Im sure after some more dailing in and good cool air may get me there.

are those the dreaded drag radials or regular ones? if so which kind? are you having to back pedal? I have to ask I am used to seeing cars blast the radials off drag or otherwise on launch when they run anywhere near what you are, but then again you were running in the groove?

Yeah they are drag radials (Mickey Thompson ET street)
I'm not sure I understnd your terminoligy,back pedling?
In the groove? sorry, not being smart-just don't really know what you mean.
But from what I gather you mean,
I get up on the converter to about 1800 rpm,then floor it,and not let off LOL (actually most the time I look for more pedel) but the floor always stops me.
But in all seriousness,the E/T Streets are great! Ride nice,launch excellent!!! I can launch almost as hard on the street with no burnout depending on the surface ,but be careful,spinning the on the street just minimal crushes drag radials life.

back pedaling: lightly lifting the throttle during a pass to limit wheel spin/hop.

in the groove: lined up with the fresh rubber stripes for max grip.

Yeah thats what I figured,just never really heard it stated that way. The groove I did ,but everybody tries to be in the groove so thought maybe I was wrong bout what he meant,

drag radals: Nitto's or BFG they are actually called "drag radials"
MT et streets: DOT legal bias ply tires also similar to those made by hoosier, and M&H (racemaster), they have more in common with a slick than a radial.

Yeah they are a bias ply,but really don't handle bad at all-even at low tire pressure.
They really dont seem to show wear as bad as a BFG to me either. Yeah they are a slick though,not so great in the rain.
Although not sure if either of you ever got cought in the rain with a (slick) all I can say is woow!!! very scary.
I once drove my car bout 2 mile in heavy down pour to the nearest carwash by the track to change tires. had to ride in stones on berm the whole way about 10 mph.
