I'm using an Aeromotive Pro-Series Boost Reference EFI Regulator, P/N 13110, which will flow enought fuel to support up to around 2000hp.

Any photos?

How did you mount it?

I have the stock TPI fuel rails. Looks like the block that the regulator screws into just pushes into the rails. I will need some type of custom connector set up.

Anyone done this?

Thanks.

LOL....that isn't going to work for you and your stock TPI

honestly, when i had my TPI setup i had the TPIS unit. It was a little expensive but the hat was made out of billet aluminum and in over a year and a half of playing with it to adjust fuel pressure with my blower setup i never had an issue

Thanks. Yea I saw their unit. Looks like the BBK unit that Summit sells. I like it since it comes with the gaskets for the plenum too.

I read a post that someone said they were losing vacuum out of the screw?

Any problems like this?

How much pressure do you think it can take max?

Does it used the rubber diaphram and metal center?

Thanks.

i had a problem with the screw not staying tight. I just put some loctite on it for it to stay in place. I didn't have any other problems than that

When I was running the TPI setup, I used an external regulator (Weldon). I modified my fuel rails which eliminated the factory regulator and cross-over tubes. I installed -8 fitings in the front of the rails, and -6 fitings in the back. I had to use 180* fittings in the rear of the rails, and came under the plenum to feed the external regulator. I have the fuel rails and lines, if you want i can take a pic, unfortunately I don't have the intake to show you the system mocked up. Hope this gave you another alternative to the factory regulator problem.

Hi Blown Bird,

Photos would be great.

I am suprised that more members have not had this problem.

I ended up getting a Acell in the mean time. I need to get her back on the road as it is my driver.

I went through 2 Holleys after testing the FMU. Rep said they can handle 100 psi + pressure. But I got two returns and two sets of intake gaskets to prove otherwise!

I know of some list members who are running the TPIS unit and have no problems, but this unit requires parts from the stock regulator which I do not have.

Other members like the Accel so I opted for this as it comes with all necessary components. I like the design of the allen socket top instead of the screw which I read hits the plenum and sometimes leaks vacuum.

Anyway please send the photos, and a list of parts, fittings, hoses and photos when you get some time. You can PM me or email too.

Thanks.
