Weiand 177 retrofit

Could a Weiand 177 be retrofitted to a TPI engine? Would it bolt to the TPI heads and clear the distributor? I know a bonnet could be made to mount the throttle body to the supercharger itself Outside of hood clearance issues, what other issues would be involved with such a retrofit? If not the Weiand, is there another roots style supercharger in the sub $1500 range that would make a better retrofit candidate for a modest 6psi boost application?

Not on 87-up intake bolt pattern heads. Weiand blowers only work with the earlier 86-down intake bolt pattern. The nearly identical Holley 177 blower might be able to be purchased with an 87-up intake bolt pattern- contact Holley and ask them.

Yes, it will clear the distributor, even a large-cap HEI.
