Installing vortech supercharger on 118,xxx LT1?
I hear alot of horror stories about installing superchargers on otherwise stock motors. Aside from rebuilding the motor to handle the boost, is it safe to bolt on the supercharger and just run 5-6 pounds of boost? Does anyone have any experience here with forced induction on an LT1? Thanks in advance
This being a 3rd gen board you won't get much help on a 4th gen. I know LT1's had some trouble with rings breaking when making back to back runs. You can try a search but I would try camaroz28.com and the forced induction section. hope this helps.
