Need a cam suggestion

Right now I have a basically stock 350 - will have AFR 190cc heads and a ati blower eventually. I would like to replace the stock cam when I replace the heads. I'm looking for a decent performer that will still permit power brakes etc that will also be acceptable when the blower is added. Comments/Suggestions?

call comp cams, they are very helpful and can throw you a good grind together. if you didnt want to do that, just look for something with about .500 lift that favors the exhaust by .020 or so and about 10* duration @.050

email me at

For the money you can't beat the "ZZ4" or the "LT4 Hot Cam" from GM Performance Parts. The ZZ4 specs out at 208In 221Ex duration @ .050 lift. Lift is .474 In .510 Ex with 1.5 rockers. This is a roller cam. You did not say what you needed.

I would go with a comp blower cam, they have a wider lobe seperation and such to get the most out of the boost.
