input on alternate fuel systems

In this thread someone mentioned propane and alcohol injection. I would like to hear more about these 2 forms of fuel delivery.
From what I am aware of Propane is a very valid form of injection for turbocharged or supercharged engines. And if the conversion if feasable. I would possibly be interested in going with propane.
I've always been interested in doing a Twin tubro engine. I am starting to be able to afford such a project but I want to have my homework done before I dive into a project that will likely cost me a lot of money.
I've done numerous searches, the info on TT's is great, but the alternate fuel systems is relatively few.
I am also wondering about the legality of running one of these systems. of course I will have to look that up in my own state lawbooks.
