Used Turbo condition

Recently got a used k26 for $120, purchased over e-bay.

Using an air compressor, once I lubed the casing, the turbo spun up very well. Everything seems to be in order except for one slight abnormality on the compressor turbine. Looks like a chip or fracture. What do you guys think?

the part I have shown circled in red here? you should look very closely to see if it was machined off, it may be a balance spot.

that was machined that way on purpose to balance the assembly...

the marks on the outside font tips of the compressor wheel are caused by the dirt on the compressor flaking off when the compressor hits surge and those tips flex a little. If it was bad they would have broken off.

You plan on using two of those K26's? I know they are stock on 951 porsches and I doubt highly that one would feed a 305 or 350 SBC.
