Computer FMU/TPI

Hello all,
I have a '89 Firebird, 305 TBI. With a P1SC Supercharger

First I want to upgrade to the 305 TPI, which I know can be done fairly easy, at the same time I want to get rid of the ATI FMU and add a computer based FMU. Any comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You might want to check out the DIY PROM and DFI/ECM forums on this website. Your choices are either:

A. Expensive ($800-$2000) aftermarket standalone DFI that will come with a replacement ECM, software, and cables to hook up to your laptop. These usually will tune on the fly which makes the experience alot easier.

B. Cheaper ($200-$300) but harder Syclone/Typhoon ECM swap/upgrade, which can either be a 749 ECM swap, or an upgrade to the stock 730 ECM to a 749. Both will require $58 code, learn how to tune the car yourself, and burn your own custom EPROMs. This one is alot harder but its also alot cheaper.
