blower on stock L98
It would depend on how many miles the L98 has, how it was maintained over the course of its life, how you maintain it, and how much boost you push. Since most of us are the 2nd/3rd/4th or even higher owners of our cars, its hard to know if the engines were properly maintained. Its safe to assume that it was not properly maintained and I would say you'd need a rebuild around 120k miles. The truth is that if you want to make real power reliably, the motor should be rebuilt anyway. Boosting an older motor that might not have been maintained properly is going to make it break faster than if you left it N/A. Prime example would be my 91 z (motor rebuild soon!). So the real answer is, nobody knows.
