p1sc in....need new blower belt now
Thanks to all who answered my tech q's while I was putting the blower in. I'm totally impressed by the difference ATI's unit made. I drove the car approx 2 miles to get it inspected after the unit was in and I had a bit of pulley misalignment. The belt was riding on the blowers crank pulley lip for a bit and it seems to be stretched out now. I've adjusted my belt tensioner as far as it's going to go and I still get more than a 1/2 inch of blower belt deflection. Should I just re-order a replacement belt from ATI or does goodyear or someone sell something a bit better? Thanks again guys. See you at the Super Chevy show in NH 5-23!
