Maybe not worth sticky, but good info to have
So, I installed and ran my P1SC procharger (which I'm VERY happy with) and didn't do a very important step. I didn't make sure the blower and crank pulleys were level with one another. I now know why you should. My belt walked onto the crank pulley lip and stretched. I trimmed my blower spacers and made sure the pulleys were level. Too late, the tensioner was all the way up and I still had 1/2 to 3/4 inch deflection in the blower belt. Toast, belt squeal from 2k up. SO, I bought a new belt. (Here's the info part for guys with an L98 4.0" blower pulley setup!) I bought a goodyear gatorback belt for a 94-2001 Dodge Ram 360cid truck. These belts work awesome. There, nuff said. Enjoy guys.:lala:
