ATTN GRUMPY:
One nice thing about various ecm codes is that they have things like changing the wastgate solenoids duty cycle as a function of knock. So while you can rely on the knock sensor to trim back on timing if the WI fails, you can also use the wastegate strategy to turn on more water.

I've had mine for about two years now. It works but the part throttle chug is what I'd love to get rid of. As mine is all or nothing.

Its relative. Its a complete kit. But its working off of sensors to trigger. Which makes it just about perfect. And being varible, doesn't flood at part throttle.
I've had mine for about two years now. It works but the part throttle chug is what I'd love to get rid of. As mine is all or nothing.

Why bother with the ECM.. Just feed the MAP signal into a LM339 comparator and use a pot to adjust the voltage to trigger the solenoid
