How to tune with a supercharger ?
Okay here's my deliema,
What timing should i be running with a procharger D1SC
Ideally what fuel pressure should i be running ?
The car seems to be sluggish down low, and then i sort of picks up a little, but im afraid to drive to down the highway for fear i go into a detonation or somthing, i dont have a Fuel pressure guage yet, im getting one tomorrow, the car just seems to idle great in park, but in drive it's really sluggish. Oh and when i put the timing gun on it i see the mark every once in a while, not every turn, does that mean the car is missing badly, or is my timing gun screwed ?
Basically the car never really ran at top performance after i did my stealthram swap, so i think the car needs to be tuned from top to bottom, what steps would you suggest ?

Here's the deal. You supercharge a stock motor, the supercharger kit should come with a FMU. The FMU will interface with your ECM and deliver the proper A/F ratio on boost. The FMU is made for the stock motor. As soon as you start modding the motor (aka StealthRam), the FMU becomes less effective. The next step you need to take is re-think the tuning of your car. The problems you are experiencing are probably the result of bad tuning. Some choices I could think of off the top of my head, contact the supercharger manufacturer and see if they carry a tunable FMU for your new setup, convert to Standalone Engine Management (aka Holley Commander 950, or Speedpro F.A.S.T.) and tune it on the fly, or do a 749 ECM swap and burn yourself a custom chip with $58 code. Good tune = good performance.
