Supercharging...How reliable?
Supercharging...How reliable?
Topic asks the question thats on my mind. I'll be wanting to do some good highway crusing with my 5.7 Z28 running 11 pounds of boost...Might throw in a 75 shot of N20 too... Hoping to see 12's.
Using a fuel pressure and timing control box to keep an eye on things, do you think I'll have much to worry about as far as me blowing the engine or something dumb like that? Or should I worry more about my transmission/rear end?
I know the stock cam isnt setup ideally for forced induction, think it would be a good idea to swap over to a more supercharger friendly cam to help smooth things out?

Supercharging is very reliable if you have enough fuel. I highly reccomend an intercooler also. As far as the N20 goes, 2 power adders are scary man but it can be done.
BTW your rear end will be owned.
