Right now, I am running an NOS cheater system with the 150 jets and I have a Vic Jr intake with a 750 cfm double pumper. Now if I wanna step up to the 250 shot, will the 750 provide enough fuel? My pump is more then adequate and I know the motor can take it, I just dont wanna lean it out and blow it.should I step up to an 830cfm holley HP? Opinions would be great!

um, you do have the fuel hooked to your nitrous plate don't you?
355, forged pistons/crank/rods, AFR 210 heads, Vic Jr intake, Hydro-roller cam, NOS Cheater system.....150-250shot, it is fine with the 150, but will it be adequate for the 250?

it wouldnt matter if you were running a 650
the nitrous is your air, some mistakenly think that if you pump up the level of nitrous used or add nitrous to begin with, then the engine could suffer to pull in more air through a little carb because the nitrous is making the engine work harder. The nitrous is a liquid state when it hits the area under the carb. some is still liquid when it gets all the way to the cylinder. but it is discharged in such a cool state that when it hits atmosphere (or even the enclosed area in the plenum of your carbed intake) alot of it begins to vaporize and expand which provides enough positive pressure to keep your engine from starving from pumping losses associated with the downstroke and the intake charge having to be pulled through any possible restriction. Take note, this is only enough to provide a nullification of the restriction. It is not the actual thing that makes power, its not like its supercharging it. The effects of nitrous making power in your engine are best described in other ways. this is simply my way to describe why the restriction wouldnt hurt.

Thanks a lot, I wasnt sure if I should, but now, nothing is holding me back from that 250shot! Well, except my poor clutch! I wonder how long it will last!

what tranny are you running? a T-5? if so, ever broken it?
yeah, its a T-5. never actually broke the tranny itself, but I did burn the factory clutch on my first N2O pass. I know I need to step up to an auto if I wanna go 10's

or a T56
Someone suggested a tranny from X2C or something? what about those, how expensive are they?

T 56, how hard is that to comprehend? i have no idea why you would want to NOT have an extra overdrive, and a stronger tranny for less money.
the t5's are not a good transmission. even when you get the chromoly mainshaft, straight cut gears, etc. they are still weak considering how much money you spend. i would only consider a t5 if weight was a SERIOUS issue.

well, an X2C tranny that will hold up to 1000hp is only 1600 bucks, thats not even the price of my heads, so how much cheaper would a T-56 be, plus a T-56, you cant get an SFI bellhousing or flywheel!
