Switching frrom N2O to Turbo!!!
Switching frrom N2O to Turbo!!!
Well, I have thought about it a lot, and I was wondering how hard, and if it would be worth it?I could switch pistons, but everything else would likely work good, except for my N20 cam... They are only a couple hudred bucks to get a new one anyways. Now, for my setup, what would be an ideal Turbo?I would like to run twins with intercooler.
I have forged crank, rods and pistons
AFR 210 heads, ported and polished
Super Victor and 830cfm 4150 HP
Hydro-roller cam
I would like to stay with a carb cause EFI kinda scares me,plus, I just got the intake and carb!
How hard? Is it worth it? I just think it would be a lot easier on my car then a 250+ shot of NAWWWWS!
Opinions?

are the times in your sig, on or off bottle?
if those times are on bottle, why so slow? whats up with the car.
with those parts, id stick with the spray, and get a progressive controller, or hit it with a 2 stage, 125+200

why so slow? cause I had radials on, I had Eibach Sportline springs and stock shocks/struts. It was my first time at the track and it was with a 150 shot.I had never taken the car to the track before and I have a T5 so I was leaving at idle with no powershifting. I have since switched to Eibach drag springs. Lakewood shocks and struts. I also am getting some 325/50-15 BFG DR on convo pros with some 165R15 for the front. I also still had power everything with the front sway bar still on at the time.I am not building a drag car though, so thats why I think I would enjoy Twin Turbos a lot more, then spray on the street. And I am very good at welding/fabricating so.... Thanks for your opinion though,
