U want more acceleration..

U could change the gears...

U could get a bigger camshaft

aftermarket intake manifild like edelbrock rpm.

get shorty headers (1 5/8) w- 3" y-pipe

automatic? get a shiftkit.

If I were U, id get stuff that can be re-used on a later 350cu.in ?

All of the above should give u a nice diffrence.

Good luck

Well it all depends on how fast you want to go......

I would personally suggest a small nitrous kit made by NOS, Compucar, or Nitrous Express. They can be bought for under $700 and can add power in a big way. The price might be high, but here you really get what you pay for. What other performance part advertises 125-150 hp for the same price? Just so you know, you can reliably add up to 125 hp on the stock motor without any other modifications. Tons of people here have done it and I have too, so don't be afraid--JUST DO IT!!!!

P.S. if you do go this route, do a good tune up and splurge for some of the extras (i.e. fuel pressure guage, fuel pressure safety switch, and a higher output ignition system) if you intend on using it regularly--they only improve reliability and safety.

oops wrong board

Before adding a power adder id do the mods i listed
if the first post, let the engine breath.

Then get the nitrous kit..

Though Id supercharge... more expensive..
but theres no refilling.. and I find Its more usable
on the street.

(just my opinion)

AGREED!!!!!!!!!!

But thin wallets can rarely afford the $3500+ price tag. In my opinion if you have the time to tune it right, run both. If you lack the facilities to properly tune, sticking to one power adder is the way to go!!

Nice, i looked into the intake manifold before, im saving up for one. What kinda extra power are we looking at with the edlebrock. The headers will be nice, they are gonna come with the new exhaust system. Hopefully i can pull it off without the ol cad converter in Kansas, luckily i know somebody that does it. Now my friend said they he upped the timing in his car and it gave him a noticeable difference. Whats that all about, do any of you guys know, and would it change anything?
