Accel Pro-Ram

Well kind of decided I want to use a pro-ram manifold for the new blower motor I am building. I have a question about throttle bodies. Which would be the best to use for a blower application. Should I purchase the Accel/Lingenfelter plenum adapter and use the Accel 1000cfm TB I have laying around, or should I purchase a TB from Accufab, with all the assorted conversion parts? It looks like the Accel would be more cost effective, cause I already have the TB, but the adapter is 300.00 for a cast 90° elbow. Will the accufab make more HP/torq? and if I do choose accufab what mm 70, 80 or 90 mm

.850 was cut off the elbow and i honestly dont remember how much was taken off the intake. It was milled flat and then down. Next time im at the garage i can measure the height of it and let you know

Good luck finding the Accel elbow. But I know of a place where you can get a aluminum sheetmetal version of the Accel elbow Runs about $800 just for the elbow.

I had the Accel one and ran the 58mm tb on my ProRam. I wanted more airflow so I swapped it out for an PTE elbow and 90 mm Accufab. Was cheaper to change everything than buy the monoblade from TPIS or ASM. Picked up more hood clearance too.

You can get a 90 degree elbow from these guys (200.00). then buy the
accufab throttle body. Makes fabrication allot easier.
